Senior Care Centers is proud of its emerging medical model approach to healthcare and at the heart of that medical team model is the Physician Advisory Board. This committee is comprised of Physicians representing different geographic regions of the State who practice in Senior Care Centers’ facilities. These Physicians are key opinion leaders and influencers within their own medical communities.
Examples of the Physician’s Advisory Board activities include: reviewing medications for safety, efficacy and cost-effectiveness to include in a preferred medication formulary or therapeutic interchange program; assisting in developing best practices and quality programs; providing input on specific service lines and business initiatives.
Together, with Senior Care Centers’ Clinical and Operational leaders, the Physician Advisory Board directs the organization’s efforts for achieving the Triple Aim of Healthcare: improving the experience of care, improving the health of populations, and reducing per capita costs of health care.
