Dee McCarthy, Chief Clinical Officer
Dee McCarthy has over 40 years of nursing experience, twenty -five of which have been spent in long term care. She served as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services and Quality Assurance for a national long term care company with 240 facilities in 39 states. Additionally, she has served as Vice President of Operations, Director of Clinical Reimbursement and Risk Management consultant for various long term care companies. As a consultant with a major accounting firm, she performed market analysis and due diligence reviews for their healthcare unit.
She received her ASN from the State College of Florida and her BSN from the University of South Florida, graduating both magna cum laude. She is a graduate student at Sacred Heart University in the MSN program. Dee is currently a certified DON through NADONA, as well as a certified dementia practitioner and trainer through NCCDP. She is very involved with the Alzheimer’s Association and also serves on the board of The Southern Associates, a consulting firm specializing in quality assurance.
