Ana Pico, Chief Operating Officer
Ana I. Pico is Chief Operating Officer for Senior Care Centers, LLC (SCC), and she is responsible for the overall execution of strategic and operational initiatives for the company, a market-leader in the state of Texas with over 80 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. Additionally, Ana serves as a liaison to the SCC Board of Directors. Ana develops, implements, and manages operation strategies and programs to fit the vision of corporate teams, specific medical models, community needs, and payments models.
Ana has been involved in the healthcare industry for more than 18 years. Prior to her current role, she held the following positions at Fundamental Clinical and Operational Services, LLC: Divisional Vice President of Operations – guided the operations of a continuum of care model that encompassed the business lines of skilled nursing facilities, Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH), assisted living facilities and hospice care in the states of Texas and New Mexico. Regional Vice President of Operations – directed fiscal, clinical, and business development, and account receivable systems; Administrator, Director of Business Development; and Director of Social Services.
Ana is a member of the Executive Board with the Texas Health Care Association (THCA), and serves as the chairman for the Multi-Facility Owners’ Committee. She has given presentations at state and local associations on a variety of topics related to long term care. She leads her team in legislative efforts at the local, state, and national level with THCA and the American Health Care Association (AHCA).
Ana holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
